Meet the Family…
In 1964, Michael & Jennie Begley decided to take their knowledge as garage door specialists and form '89’s'. Unaware that this venture would soon grow into Perth’s premier garage door company, the husband and wife team simply named the company after the address of their warehouse, 89 Great Eastern Highway.
Michael & Jennie’s vision was to provide professional, specialist services whilst also staying true to the values they so closely held as a family; professionalism, courtesy and respect. It’s these solid foundations that have allowed the company to blossom into the premier supplier, installer & servicer of garage doors that it is today.
Now, over 50 years later, 89’s is still run by the Begley Family, passed down into the capable hands of Michael & Jennie’s son, Anthony, and his wife Jayne.
Throughout multiple relocations, growth periods and extensions into the more regional areas of WA, the Begley family have continued to provide customer service aligned with the values they were brought up with.
Now, 89’s The Garage Door Specialists offer servicing and installations throughout the entirety of the Perth Metro area. With sister companies, Mandurah Roller Door Centre and Blue Tongue Roller Doors providing even more service offerings throughout Western Australia.

Western Australia’s premier garage door company, 89’s The Garage Door Specialists, was founded by husband & wife team, Michael and Jennie Begley.

The team set up shop in their first warehouse at 89 Great Eastern Highway, giving the company the name we have today.
Relocation 1
Due to unprecedented growth, 89’s makes its first relocation to Yampi Way in Willetton.
Relocation 2
The growth didn’t stop there, soon the 89’s team had to make another move, this time just around the corner to its current base on Gympie Way.
The Handover

89’s continues to grow whilst still nurturing the same values instilled by Michael and Jennie over 50 years ago.
Our World-Class Team
Formed by her grandparents & now owned by her parents, Emma has grown up in the 89's offices and is not only an asset to our team, but more importantly, to our customers. With experience working in commercial, industrial and residential industries, Emma can be relied upon to recommend garage solutions & products to best suit your budget and scope. In her spare time, you can find her at the track with her dad, racing nitro funny cars.
& Accounts Manager
Robert is our Domestic Sales Representative and Accounts Manager. Hailing all the way from jolly old England, London to be exact, Robert joined the 89’s family in early 2021.
With 37 years’ experience in sales, Robert brings with him exemplary customer service and a commitment to going 'above and beyond' for our customers.

Having grown up in the garage door industry (89’s was started by Anthony’s parents), Anthony grew up learning the ins and outs of WA’s garage door industry.
With a wealth of knowledge and expertise, it was inevitable that one day he would take the reins and step up to the role of Managing Director, alongside his wife Jayne, and daughter, Emma.
